With the Zagreb Veggie Fair around the corner, V-Label shares exciting news
- As of July 15, 2024, over 70,000 certified products carry the V-label across the globe
V-Label, world’s leading vegan and vegetarian trademark, is striving towards a world where vegan and vegetarian products are widespread, popular, and easily recognisable. V-Label has reached a record number of certified products – as of July 15, 2024, over 70,000 products carry the label! This is an important milestone in the history of V-Label. The record number emphasises the growing trust and confidence that manufacturers and customers place in standard certificates issued by V-Label. In addition, the number of certificate licensees has reached a record number, with over 4,800 companies carrying the V-Label, together with 37 local partner organisations, represented in Croatia by Animal Friends Croatia. The increase in the number of licensees demonstrates the widespread recognition of the V-Label.
“This milestone is a confirmation of our dedication to providing easy-to-understand and transparent information to consumers worldwide. We are thrilled to see such a substantial increase in the number of certified products and our licensee base. It reflects our dedication to helping consumers and supporting manufacturers in delivering increasingly popular vegan and vegetarian products,” said Renato Pichler, founder of V-Label.
Animal Friends Croatia emphasise that Croatia too has seen a considerable increase in interest in vegan products, while consumers, regardless of their choice of diet, increasingly choose plant-based and cruelty-free products.
With more than 25 years of experience labelling products and engaging experts in quality management, food technology, chemistry, cosmetology, and marketing, V-Label has long been at the forefront of certification of vegan and vegetarian products across various industries, including food & beverages, cosmetics & cleaning agents, and non-food. The organization’s certifications are widely recognized and respected, providing assurance to consumers and a competitive edge to manufacturers.
A number of Croatian V-Label licensees, whose products are available from shops across Croatia, will be present at the forthcoming 16th Veggie Fair of Sustainable Living, to be held on 6, 7, and 8 September at Europe Square in Zagreb, organised for non-profit by Animal Friends Croatia.
Attracting thousands of visitors every year, the Zagreb Veggie Fair is expected to host a large number of companies and restaurants offering vegan food and non-food items on the Croatian market. Vegan products are crucial for the survival of planet Earth and ending climate change, preservation of natural resources, and biodiversity, while saving animal lives and helping prevent numerous modern age illnesses. These varied products constantly growing in diversity are intended for everyone, regardless of their dietary habits.
