09/23/03 Circus - YES, Animal Acts - NO!
On the occassions of guest performance of a circus with animals in Varazdin, Animal Friends is making a statement: CIRCUS - YES, ANIMAL ACTS - NO!
- up until now the circus was followed by protests of the organization in several cities
- demands for the inhibition of the circus with animal acts were addressed to the mayor Ivan Cehok and municipal authorities
Due to our belief that the animals suffer in circuses and that, instead of being locked up in cages they should be free, the organization will organize protests in front of the circus, just before the shows start. The first protest will be organized before the opening night, on Tuesday, September 23 at 5 P.M.
We would like you to respond to our invitation and participate in the protest of our organization.
