Animal Friends Croatia invites all those who want to be educated to come to Ban Jelačić Square on Friday and Saturday

- September 11 and 12: 5 2-meter pillars with 15 panels, six-meter 3D inscription, lectures, and workshops

On September 11 and 12, on the dates when the popular ZeGeVege festival was to take place, the Animal Friends Croatia Association invites everyone to stop by Zagreb's Ban Jelačić Square to see a visually attractive installation consisting of five two-meter pillars with 15 educational panels. The VegeEDU installation by ZeGeVege will be set up from Friday, September 11 at 8 a.m. to Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 8 p.m.

In addition to recipes, useful tips, and recommendations for books and movies on animal rights and veganism, they will teach you more about sustainable living and how vegan food can slow global warming, improve our health, save forests, drinking water and the sea, prevent hunger in the world and save billions of animals.

VegeEDU visuals will also include recommendations for movies and books, cooking tips and recipes, as well as a generous list of herbal versions for foods of animal origin. Animal Friends Croatia believes that everyone will be impressed by the large six-meter three-dimensional sign about the diet of the future, and visitors will be able to take photos with the installation and take discount coupons on vegan products of the installation sponsor.

"As we had to cancel the ZeGeVege festival, which is visited by more than 50,000 people, due to the impossibility of fulfilling anti-epidemic measures, we have prepared an attractive and motivating installation aimed at promoting sustainable living for all those for whom ZeGeVege has been an indispensable vegan oasis in the heart of Zagreb." As part of the VegeEDU installation, the flags of the ZeGeVege festival and the V-label will be flown, which allows consumers to easily identify products without ingredients of animal origin, ”explains Animal Friends Croatia.

In addition, in those two days on the FB page of Animal Friends Croatia you will be able to see as many as 11 content-rich lectures and workshops on cooking simple and delicious vegan dishes - from fritters, vegan scrambled eggs, and pumpkin to vegan sausages, kebabs, and cakes. Between the online presentations, which will change every hour, positive messages will be sent by Ivan Dečak, Karmen Sunčana Lovrić, Matea Frajsberger, Mare Milin, and others.

September 11 also marks the 19th anniversary of the Animal Friends Croatia Association, which, thanks to dedicated work and perseverance, has achieved historical changes for animals in Croatia such as a ban on breeding animals for fur, a ban on killing animals in shelters, ban on permanent dog tethering, continuous-resolution the problem of abandoned animals, the ban on throwing firecrackers at animals, the expansion of the vegan offer in Croatian restaurants and shops and many others.

Therefore, Animal Friends Croatia states that on Friday and Saturday it is worth taking a walk through the main square of Zagreb, as well as following the events on their Facebook page and that everyone is welcome.
